Universities commonly provide web sites for their faculty, researchers, and research groups, but they are usually limited to folks within the given organisation. Understandably. Often, however, research is conducted in teams and networks that go well beyond organisational boundaries, and include people from different universities and even countries. This is the case with us as well. We are a bunch of people who collaborate in different groups and settings, share common interests, and spend a lot of time online planning research, developing activities, supervising students, and sharing cat videos, but we haven't had a joint site we could use to communicate our research and share our experiences. This is why we decided to set up this site. This will be our showcase to both the academic world and general public, and a means to share our thoughts, ideas, and experiences. And cat videos. At least that is our intention. We'll see what happens.
